2024 Update

Majical Youth has had a lovely 2024 so far we have attend and work at some great big and small. Bringing our circus skills to some amazing day event locally has been wonderful.

We actively supported Ysgol Beca's parent teacher association (PTA) this year to design and run a play day to celebrate 50 yrars of the life of their school, they first contacted us to request to "hire some trampolines and a food trailer" for their fun day, however upon consultation, we discovered they were ripe for a bit of Majical Youth "community event training intervention"! We could have just hired them some trampolines and run one of our catering trailers to make money for majical youth, however that's not the spirit of our organisation! We like to Foster and support community events to happen, And so it was that we set too and designed an event with them to both save money and actually generate some income for the PTA. An active PTA committee is a delightful thing.....we pointed out that hiring a local bouncy castle and staffing it with parents (who we could train to supervise), would both save money and generate some of its hire costs back. We also advised that they would be better off running a barbecue and tea and cake stall to raise funds, instead of handing over the catering to a mobile unit, we offerred consultation on legalities, logistics, event management, layout and car parking. Using our production skills we were able to advise on appropriate risk assessments, methodology and insurances, we recommended organising a series of simple fairground type table games, tombola, lucky dip, knock o' can ect. That the children themselves could run for fun and we provided prizes for them to win! We provided all the staff and equipment for a circus skills workshop for the afternoon, including tight wire, stilt walking, jugglin, spinning, throwing games, they organised a series of workshops, talks demonstrations, a Male voice choir and a scarecrow trail round the village and school grounds and jolly good fun day was had by all plus it raised enough funds for them to consider making it into an annual event, so win win for everyone!

Love Kidwelly is a local event committee trying to breathe some life into their community through organizing events around the town, Majical Youth has assisted them this year with circus skills workshops , marquee loan and kids activities on their play days, as they were a genuine community event we supplied them with the structures and activities at our special reduced community event price, we had a fun day doing silly Olympics, parachute games, Talent Shows, balloon modeling and a one man band and parade with a whole afternoon of circus skills and workshop fun.

We had a brilliant August returning for the 21st year to Beautiful Days festival. Creating the best festival kids area around!! The weekend of full pure joy and fun for everyone. We have something for kids off all ages from Crafts, Theater, circus fun fair rides. from toddler to teen we entertained and we would not have it any other way. A massive Thank You to are amazing Crew and too all the wonderful family’s that come and enjoy the festival.
